The Village Youth Theatre, a partner of the Village Players of Birmingham, presents theatrical programs and experiences that challenge young actors to develop their artistic skills and talents as well as their self-confidence, self-awareness, compassion, leadership and teamwork abilities.
Currently, the Village Youth Theatre produces two full-length musicals and conducts a summer camp annually. The group also presents special workshops and seminars throughout the year.
Our 2008-2009 Season:
- Oliver! December 5, 6, 7, 12, 13 & 14, 2008
- Summer Theatre Arts Camp: June 22 - July 17, 2009.
NEWSFLASH!!!
Camp is in session! Summer is officially here and our campers are in rehearsal for their summer production, Disney's Aladdin! Show dates are July 15 and 16 at 7:00 in the evening. Tickets are available at the door the evening of the performances.
Our show for fall 2009 is Rent, School Edition! We will be the first community theatre in Michigan to produce this incredible show. Check back for information on auditions and more!
